The RUBI joint scraper is very practical for repair work in which we have to replace a few ceramic tiles. By emptying the installation joint before replacing the broken ceramic tiles, we will reduce the risk of damaging the perimeter tiles that are in good condition. And in the same way, we will gain space to place new parts, which could have small dimensional differences, if they belonged to different production batches or different manufacturers.
The manual scraper is equipped with an ergonomic handle and two electrodeposited tungsten carbide plates. of great resistance to abrasion. These pads can be combined with 1, 2 or 3 pads depending on the width of the placement joint to be emptied. Each electrodeposited tungsten carbide pad has a thickness of 2 mm. Therefore, the minimum joint to work with this scraper is 2 mm, and the width of the placement joint can reach up to 6 mm.
